PANDA EXPRESS SAW RECORD SALES, PROFITS, AND STORE OPENINGS DURING S&P'S TENURE.
We created a long-running campaign in which lovable, iconic mascots promoted Panda's newest dishes. During a three-year period in the midst of the great recession, S&P's efforts generated consecutive 6% year-over-year same store sales growth increases– while the rest of the QSR industry reported no growth at all. Our work also helped Panda grow from 1,000 to 1,600 restaurants during our tenure, while increasing revenue by 80%.
S&P’s introductions of dishes like Beijing Beef, Sweet Fire Chicken, and Honey Walnut Shrimp were overnight successes, and remain top-selling menu items today. Additionally, our social media efforts brought over three million Facebook fans to Panda: more fans than Arby’s, Jack in the Box, and Carl’s Jr. combined.
